Building a sustainable progressive movement or achieving desired electoral outcomes depends upon multi-racial coalition building.
One would think building such a movement or achieving desired electoral outcomes would be premised upon anti-racism efforts on a self-professed liberal blog.
One-third of those affected by 'teh purge' were people of color, notwithstanding the fact that people of color comprise about 3 to 6 percent of the readership.
This can be a different type of space for people of color. One that is welcoming, rather than hostile.
I will see many of you out there in the diversified progressive blogosphere. There are numerous places to visit. I will unabashedly pimp my own blog here. Show some support to a half-Muslim, gay brown, immigrant Indo-Caribbean sistah at Critical Mass Progress, a new project of mine.
Feel free to add your own in the comments.
In solidarity.
Signing off for the week.
Peace.
